Splishin' and Splashin'

Lily absolutely loves bath time! It is not uncommon for Lily sit in the tub and soak for half an hour. She loves to swim in the warm water with her rubber ducks, plastic boats and bubbles up to her chin.

She likes to disguise herself in bubbles and make funny faces! Lily tried on a wig and a beard and posed for the camera!

Lily splashing around!

It's possible we revealed to much... Lily does not want intruders on her private bath time- Lily shouts, "And close the door on your way out!"

Apples and Bananas

For 3 months now Lily has enjoyed her 'solid' food. She started out at 4 months with cereal and has eaten her way through green and orange vegetables, fruits and now full course meat meals! She is a fabulous eater, getting cleaner everyday! Here is a compilation of her progress. (The first clip is pretty long but stay tuned...) and ENJOY!

Lake Fun

Make up from: May 9, 2009
7 Months 3 Days

This post is a little past due but...YAAYY Lily's first trip to the lake, with proper lake weather that is. First she had to put on her ever so cute bathing suit from her sweet Aunt Elizabeth.

She spent the day chillin' on the dock with a few crinkly toys and her very first floppy hat.

She wanted to try to barefoot ski, but I thought it might be a little advanced for her so I dug back into my ski instructor days at Camp Cosby and have been giving lessons on hangers (baby steps)...her grip is incredible and her technique is flawless.

We were a little worried about the sun on our pasty white baby so we went back up to the house where she just lazily hammocked away with her Mama.

To really BE there a video may be best...this is Lily getting her first floppy hat on, she seems to have mixed feelings about it. Enjoy!!

Walking on Sunshine

May 20, 2009
7 Months and 14 days old:
Well we're walking (with assistance) on sunshine. Lily is very excited about walking but the balance is a little bit harder than she first thought. Every time we offer our fingers to help her sit up she immediately comes all the way up! We need to get her running before Andrew comes back because, "That boy gonna push her down the hill"-Gerry.

Does anyone have any (successful) tricks on improving Lily's balance?

She has also begun pulling herself up on the cribs edge. SCAAAARY!!!

No pictures on Lily's tooth yet, that's a lot harder shot than it sounds like. Soon enough it will be up. If you're a neysayer I dare you to let Lily nibble on YOUR finger!

First Tooth

Well I guess good things DO come in pairs because Lily now has 2 count 'em 2 teeth coming in. She isn't near as happy about it as the rest of the family, but we're loaded up on Orajel so no worries. The tooth's coordinates are down and on her left. Soon she will be able to scarf down a Denny Dog just like her parents!
