Well it has been a while since a post so we have some catching up to do. Lily had a fun week at school when they learned all about community helpers. One day she made a letter and mailed it using the post office. Another day they learned about firemen and she brought home a fireman's hat!
This may be her new favorite thing (propably because she's so cute in it!)
We have also been to Lily's 15 month checkup where she outperformed on height! Dr. Cortopassi says she will be about 5' 4-5" if she stays on this path. He also stated that she will be like a "Kiwi Bird on the beach with those skinny little legs." Lily has also made vast improvements with her cookie jar. The cookie jar is a shape fitting activity with songs and music as well. Out of the five shapes she has been able to consistently get 4 of them. "Shapes are in my cookie jar/ triangle, heart and star/there's a cirlce over there/here's a square!"
If anyone *cough*Betty*cough* feels that Lily has not been fed since January don't worry, she is self-sufficient:
She has also been to a birthday party for her Uncle Steve and loved getting to hang out with her Aunt Katie
Lily's hair getting sooo long and beautiful, but still doesn't like a bow very often so she prefers the Pebble Flintstone's look
Lily also got to go shopping this past weekend. Once she found out it was her turn to buy she might have gotten a teenie weenie bit excited:
Luckily Lily had a Mama that could carry all of her shoppings!
Lily recieved a wonderful find from the Betty Estate Collection and it is now her favorite toy! I am not kidding or exaggerating about this just to thank Betty for the find. She will not get out of the wagon! When she is not in it she tries to climb in. Since there was nice weather this past weekend we found that the only way to keep her happy once she was in the wagon was to keep her there! What I mean by this is that when we were finished with our walk the wagon came into the kitchen and this made everyone happy.

A kiwi bird on the beach! I love it! Some of my kids still go to him and that's so crazy! I wouldn't worry about the eating. If she takes after us, she will soon be consuming everything in sight!
